Required Blood Work Before IV Therapy
Before starting IV therapy, recent blood work (within the last 6 weeks) is required to ensure your safety and the best possible treatment outcome.
Minimum Required Blood Work
- G6PD – Ensures safe processing of IV therapies
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) – Evaluates red & white blood cells, platelets
- Vitamin B12 – Supports energy and nerve function
- Vitamin D – Assesses bone, immune, and overall health
- Ferritin – Measures stored iron levels
- Iron Panel – Evaluates iron status and anemia risk
- Zinc – Essential for immune function & wound healing
- Calcium – Supports bone and cardiovascular health
- Magnesium – Important for muscle & nerve function
- Chloride – Assesses hydration and electrolyte balance
- Potassium – Helps regulate heart and muscle function
- Lipid Panel – Evaluates cholesterol and heart health
- Homocysteine – Indicator of cardiovascular and metabolic health
- Amylase & Lipase – Assesses pancreatic function
- hs-CRP (High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein) – Detects inflammation levels
- Creatine Kinase – Measures muscle and heart enzyme activity
- eGFR – Evaluates kidney function
- TSH, T3, T4 – Thyroid function assessment
