What is Glutathione?

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant naturally produced in the body. It helps:

✔️ Eliminate free radicals & toxins that contribute to oxidative stress and aging.
✔️ Support liver detoxification pathways, helping the body remove harmful substances.
✔️ Protect against oxidative damage, which may be linked to various chronic conditions.

Glutathione & Overall Health Benefits

Glutathione plays a crucial role in preventing oxidative damage, which is associated with conditions such as:

Category Condition How Glutathione May Help
Detoxification & Liver Health Liver Disease Supports liver detox pathways and reduces oxidative stress
Alcohol & Toxin Exposure Helps eliminate harmful substances from the body
Skin Disorders Reduces inflammation and oxidative damage affecting skin health
Neurological Conditions Parkinson’s Disease Protects neurons from oxidative stress and improves mitochondrial function
Alzheimer’s & Dementia Reduces brain inflammation and supports cognitive function
Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS) Helps combat oxidative damage in nerve cells
Metabolic & Age-Related Conditions Diabetes Reduces oxidative stress and improves insulin sensitivity
Macular Degeneration Protects retinal cells from oxidative damage
Aging Slows cellular degeneration and enhances skin health
Autoimmune & Chronic Conditions Multiple Sclerosis Modulates immune response and reduces inflammation
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Boosts energy production and reduces oxidative stress
Cardiovascular Disease Protects blood vessels and reduces oxidative damage
Neurodevelopmental Disorders Autism May support detoxification and reduce oxidative stress in the brain
Huntington’s Disease Protects neurons and supports brain health

📌 In addition to its potential skin-brightening effects, Glutathione may help support long-term health and cellular longevity.

Therefore, not only may you be able to enhance the luminosity of your skin, you may also be preventing diseases and increasing the longevity of your cells!

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

💉 Recommended Protocol: One complete round of treatment consists of 10 IV sessions, administered twice a week for 5 weeks.

We suggest one round of treatment is 10 IV’s that will be performed twice a week for 5 weeks. Typically one round of treatment (10 IV’s) is recommended.

How Long Will Results Last?

To maintain a brighter, more even skin tone, maintenance treatments may be required. Your ability to sustain optimal antioxidant levels will impact your long-term results.

FACTORS THAT MAY REDUCE THE EFFECTS OF GLUTATHIONE:

🚬 Smoking – Increases oxidative stress, reducing glutathione’s impact.
🍷 Alcohol Consumption – Impacts liver function and detoxification pathways.
🍔 Poor Diet – Lacking antioxidants and essential nutrients can affect skin health.
🌍 Environmental Toxins – Exposure to pollution and chemicals can increase oxidative damage.
😴 Lack of Sleep & Stress – Impairs the body’s ability to restore and repair skin cells.

📌 Maintaining a healthy lifestyle may help prolong and enhance the benefits of Glutathione IV therapy.

What Blood Work Do I Need to Ensure I Am a Candidate for Glutathione IV Therapy?

Ensure Your Eligibility for Glutathione IV Treatment

Glutathione IV therapy is a powerful antioxidant treatment that supports detoxification, immune function, and cellular health. To ensure this treatment is safe and suitable for you, recent blood work (within the last 6 weeks) is required before proceeding.

📌 If you have not completed blood work within the last 6 weeks, you will need to have the required tests done before scheduling your treatment.

📌 If your medical doctor will not requisition the required blood work, we can provide a requisition for you once you become a patient. This service is available at an additional cost, paid directly to the clinic.

Required Blood Work for Glutathione IV Therapy

To qualify for Glutathione IV therapy, you must have completed the following tests:

✔️ Complete Blood Count (CBC) – Assesses red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, and platelets to ensure proper oxygen transport and immune function.
✔️ Electrolyte Panel – Evaluates sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate, magnesium, and calcium to ensure proper hydration, nerve function, and muscle balance.
✔️ Kidney Function Tests (BUN, Creatinine, eGFR) – Ensures that your kidneys can effectively process and eliminate toxins.
✔️ Liver Function Tests (ALT, AST, Bilirubin, Albumin, ALP, LD, GGT) – Evaluates liver enzyme levels and detoxification capacity to confirm safe processing of glutathione.
✔️ G6PD (Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Test) – Screens for G6PD deficiency, a genetic condition that can increase oxidative stress

📌 These tests help determine your suitability for Glutathione IV therapy, ensuring both safety and effectiveness.

What If My Doctor Won’t Requisition the Blood Work?

🔹 If your medical doctor will not requisition the required blood work, we can provide a requisition for you once you become a patient.
🔹 This service is available at a cost paid directly to the clinic.
🔹 You can complete your blood work at a certified laboratory, and results will be reviewed before proceeding with treatment.

📌 This option ensures that you can still access Glutathione IV therapy even if your primary doctor does not approve the requisition.

How do I prepare for my treatment?

As this is a medical procedure, make sure you are well hydrated and have consumed a full meal before starting treatment.

What happens during treatment?

The doctor or medical assistant will assess your vitals (Blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, temperature and urinalysis) to make sure treatment is viable.  The doctor will then start the IV treatment. During treatment you can relax in our lazy boy chairs and watch movies or TV shows,  read a book or take a nap! You will be monitored during treatment.  The treatment will take anywhere from 45min – 1.5 hours, depending on your veins.  At the end of treatment vitals are reassessed.
