Laboratory Testing

Lococo Wellness Clinic performs some conventional laboratory testing as well as specialized laboratory testing.

We test for:

HEAVY METAL TOXICITY

Hair Mineral Analysis is used to determine the levels of metals in the body.  This is a reflection of the past 3 months of metals in the body.  Hair samples are taken from the hair that must be a few inches in length.

FOOD INTOLERANCES/SENSITIVITIES

Many people today have food intolerances/sensitivities.  These sensitivities and intolerances can show up as bloating, constipation, diarrhea, eczema, psoriasis, acne, indigestion, ADHD, ADD, etc.

This test helps to determine exactly what foods our immune system is reacting to.  This test uses the patients blood to determine the food intolerances/sensitivities.

Urinary Hormones

Urine is used to test hormone levels because this is a better indicator of the true state of the hormone level versus the blood.  The blood is collected at one specific time and is not necessarily a true indicator of the average hormone levels present in the body.  Urine Hormone Testing requires the patient to collect the urine over a period of a day to days to average out the hormone levels.
